Berty Type Internal Recycle Reactor


The MC Series Stirred Reaction Vessels are designed for handling of small quantities of costly or potentially hazardous materials. Available in 50 mL or 100 mL size these miniature autoclaves are rated for 6000 psi (400 bar) at 350°C. All models are equipped with a PPI Dyna/Mag magnetic mixer. Now you can optimize materials use, increase safety, and minimize waste disposal at the same time.

Features and Specifications

Drive Motor

  • A 1/6 hp (0.125 kw), 115 volt single phase, 60 Hz, DC variable speed drive motor and controller, mounted or remote, are supplied as standard. The standard DC VSD is equipped for operation from 0-2500 rpm. A 50 Hz motor can be supplied as required.

Support Stand

  • Corrosion resistant support stand with integral furnace
  • Stationary cover, removable reactor body.
  • Adjustable motor mount.

Heating

  • Stainless steel sheathed mantel heater. Heater power is 0.5 kW. Heater voltage is 115 volt, single phase, 50 or 60 hertz.

Closure Seal

  • Self energizing metal seal ring.

Instrumentation

  • Pressure gauge.
  • Optional tachometer and temperature control available.

Magnetic Drive and Agitator

  • Dyna/Mag magnetic drive mixer model MM-006. Static torque is 6 in-lbs (.75 Nm). Can transmit up to .25 hp (.2 kW) at 2500 rpm. Dyna/Mag drive is coupled with a turbine agitator, standard; options available.

Materials of Construction

  • Stainless steel or Hastelloy are standard; other materials available on request.
