Diaphragm Gas Compressors
A diaphragm gas compressor is a positive displacement machine in which the compressing element is a metal diaphragm or diaphragm group. A diaphragm compressor consists of two systems; a gas compression system and a hydraulic system, that transfer or compress gases with no contamination or leakage of the gas. How Diaphragm Compressors Work
A diaphragm compressor consists of a gas and a hydraulic system separated by a metal diaphragm group.  First, the gas compression system features three metal diaphragms, which are clamped in between two cavity plates and which regulate the movement of the gas through inlet and outlet check valves.  Second, the hydraulic system utilizes a motor-driven crankshaft and piston to pressurize hydraulic fluid, which in turn moves the diaphragms through the cavity that  contains the gas.

Prolonged Compressor Life
Each PPI diaphragm gas compressor includes a force feed lubrication system that continually ensures lubrication for all of its mobile parts.  Additionally, we strengthen efficiency and life span by placing oversized tapered roller bearings on our compressors.  Expect to have the following features on your compressor as well:  a dust-proof crankcase, oil level indication, rifle-drilled oil passages, and more.
